We are not a PR agency.
We are strategic counsel.

Clarivox is a strategic communications and perception strategy firm based in Abuja, Nigeria, with a global outlook.

We partner with leaders, institutions, and brands to shape perception, build trust, and protect reputation — especially when the stakes are high.

01
Calm under pressure Never frantic, always measured. The steady hand in the storm when every other voice is amplifying panic.
02
Decisive by design Clear recommendations. No waffling, no hedging. Confident without arrogance.
03
Strategically selective We do not work with everyone. We work where we can genuinely move perception.
04
Three moves ahead Every recommendation considers second-order effects. We are systems thinkers, not tactics executors.

Seven disciplines.
One purpose.

We deliver strategic counsel across two practice areas — Strategic Communications and Campaign Strategy. Every engagement is built around a central question: what will this do to perception?

01

Crisis Management & Response

When pressure is highest and time is shortest, Clarivox provides immediate strategic clarity. We build response frameworks before crises occur and lead communications when they do.

Crisis Response Rapid Strategy Stakeholder Alignment
02

Reputation Strategy & Protection

Reputation is not a moment — it is a system. We design and maintain the architecture of trust across every stakeholder group that matters to your institution.

03

Executive Communications Counsel

Leaders shape perception with every word — and with every silence. We counsel executives on how to communicate with authority, clarity, and strategic intent.

04

Strategic Media Relations

Not all visibility is valuable. We engineer media relationships and narratives that reinforce positioning — without sacrificing strategic control for column inches.

05

Brand Positioning & Messaging

Strategic brand architecture and core messaging frameworks that define how your market understands you — built to last, not built for a campaign cycle.

06

Strategic Campaign Development

Campaigns are not content. They are movements designed to shift perception and drive behavior. We build campaigns with strategic architecture, not aesthetic appeal alone.

Campaign Strategy Launch Architecture Integrated Planning

Strategy before
communication.

Every engagement begins with a diagnostic — not a proposal. We need to understand the full perception landscape before we recommend a single action.

We ask "what will this do to perception?" before we ask "what should we say?" This distinction separates strategic counsel from communications execution.

We do not manage social media accounts. We do not run paid advertising. We do not provide SEO. We do not work with clients who do not respect strategic counsel.

01

Perception Audit

We map the full landscape — how you are perceived, by whom, and the gap between current reality and desired position.

02

Strategic Framework Design

We build the architecture — messaging hierarchy, stakeholder sequence, timing strategy, and decision trees for unpredictable moments.

03

Execution Counsel

We advise through execution — reviewing every major communication touchpoint, flagging risks, and adjusting strategy as conditions evolve.

04

Measurement & Refinement

We track perception momentum, not vanity metrics. Qualified inquiry quality, stakeholder sentiment, and narrative control — these are our measures.

Nine frameworks.
Built from first principles.

Clarivox's strategic frameworks are proprietary tools developed through client engagements across crises, transitions, campaigns, and competitive repositioning. They are not borrowed from textbooks.

Brand Positioning & Messaging — Innovation Agency

Resolving Identity Confusion for a Multi-Service Innovation Firm

A technology and innovation agency offering creative services, cybersecurity, and business consulting had a fundamental perception problem: their market saw them only as a social media agency. Three distinct capabilities, no unifying narrative. Clarivox conducted a full brand audit, built a strategic positioning architecture around a single brand essence — "Bold Ideas. Built Safe." — and delivered a complete messaging framework that gave every service line its own voice within one coherent story. The client's response: the framework immediately opened conversations for partnerships they had previously been unable to access.

The First 24 Hours: What Most Leaders Get Wrong in a Crisis

When a crisis breaks, the instinct is to speak immediately. Often, that instinct is the most expensive mistake a leader will make. The first 24 hours are not about messaging. They are about intelligence gathering.

Why Nigerian Institutions Keep Losing Control of Their Narrative

Brand Positioning January 2026

Perception Confusion Is Not a Branding Problem. It Is a Strategy Problem.

When a company cannot clearly explain what it does, the temptation is to redesign the logo. The problem is almost never the logo. It is the absence of a strategic positioning framework that makes sense of everything the brand does.

About Clarivox

Clarivox is a strategic communications and perception strategy firm. We are not a PR agency.

A PR agency typically focuses on execution — writing press releases, managing media lists, securing coverage. We focus on the thinking that determines whether any of that should happen at all, and if so, how, when, and in what sequence.

We ask: what will this do to perception? Before we ask: what should we say? That distinction is the difference between strategic counsel and communications execution — and it is why leaders hire Clarivox at moments where getting it wrong is not an option.

We are headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria, with a deliberate pan-African and global outlook. Most of our engagements are conducted remotely through structured strategic sessions, which means geography is rarely a barrier.

We have a deep understanding of the Nigerian and West African business environment — the trust dynamics, the media landscape, the stakeholder relationships that matter. But our frameworks and methodology are built to global standards and apply wherever our clients operate.

It is a fair question and we will answer it directly.

Clarivox as a registered firm is new. The strategic thinking, frameworks, and methodology behind it are not. Our founder has developed nine proprietary communications frameworks through real client engagements — work that has already produced measurable results.

We are also building this firm with unusual transparency. We do not inflate our portfolio. We do not publish hypothetical case studies as real ones. We document only completed, consented work. This is not a limitation — it is a demonstration of the exact integrity we bring to client engagements.

If you need a firm with 20 years and 400 clients, we are not the right fit yet. If you need a firm where the founding strategist is personally invested in your outcome and brings focused, current thinking — we may be exactly right.

Working with us

Every engagement begins with a diagnostic conversation — not a proposal, not a scope of work. We need to understand your situation, your stakeholders, and your perception landscape before we can recommend anything.

If there is a fit, we will outline what we believe the engagement should look like, why, and what it will cost. We do not send generic proposals. Every recommendation is built for the specific situation.

To begin: submit an inquiry through our contact form. Describe your situation briefly. We review every submission personally and respond within two business days if we believe we can genuinely help.

Both — when the situation warrants it. We work with C-suite executives and founders as individuals on executive communications and personal reputation strategy. We work with institutions and brands on organisational communications, crisis management, and campaign strategy.

What defines our client is not their structure — it is their situation. We work with leaders and institutions navigating moments where perception is at stake and the cost of getting it wrong is significant.

It depends entirely on the nature of the work. Crisis engagements can be intensive over days or weeks. Reputation strategy is typically structured over 6 to 18 months. Brand positioning and campaign strategy projects usually run 4 to 12 weeks for the core strategic work, with optional ongoing advisory support.

We do not lock clients into retainers they do not need. We structure engagements around the work required — no more, no less. When the work is done, we tell you.

Absolute confidentiality is foundational to how we operate. The nature of our work means clients share sensitive information — about crises, internal conflicts, regulatory pressures, leadership transitions, and competitive positioning.

We do not discuss client situations with third parties. We do not publish case studies without explicit client consent. We do not use client names in our marketing without permission. Every engagement is governed by a confidentiality agreement as standard.

Our entire business depends on being a firm that leaders can trust with their most sensitive moments. We protect that trust without exception.

Scope & fit

We are specific about this because clarity about scope protects both sides.

We do not manage social media accounts day-to-day. We do not run paid advertising campaigns. We do not provide SEO services or digital marketing. We do not design logos or build websites. We do not write generic press releases as a primary service.

We are strategic counsel. If you need someone to execute communications tasks without strategic input, there are excellent agencies for that. If you need someone to determine what should be said, when, how, and why — that is our work.

We ask three questions before accepting any engagement.

Can we genuinely move perception here? If the situation is one where strategic communications counsel will not make a meaningful difference, we will tell you — even if it means turning away the work.

Does the client respect strategic counsel? We are advisors, not order-takers. Clients who engage us expecting to override strategic recommendations consistently do not get good outcomes — and we are not the right fit for them.

Is there a values alignment? We do not take engagements that require us to mislead stakeholders, suppress legitimate information, or serve interests that conflict with our integrity. Our reputation depends on the integrity of the work we do. We protect it carefully.

Potentially, yes — depending on what you are navigating. Early-stage companies often need brand positioning and messaging strategy as they define their market category. Founders preparing for fundraising need executive communications counsel. Startups launching publicly need announcement architecture that controls the narrative from day one.

What we look for is not company size — it is the stakes of the moment. If getting the perception wrong at this stage would materially harm your trajectory, that is the situation Clarivox exists for.

Investment

We do not publish fixed pricing because every engagement is scoped specifically for the situation. A two-day crisis response looks different from an 18-month reputation strategy. A founder positioning brief looks different from a full institutional communications overhaul.

What we will say: we are not the cheapest option available, and we are not trying to be. Our work is priced to reflect the strategic value it delivers — and the cost of getting perception wrong in high-stakes moments is almost always greater than the cost of getting the strategy right.

The diagnostic conversation is complimentary. From there, we provide a clear scope and investment figure before any work begins. No surprises.

Success varies by engagement type, but it always comes back to one question: has perception moved in the right direction?

In crisis work, success is stakeholder confidence retained, narrative controlled, and reputation protected — without a second crisis created by the response itself. In reputation strategy, success is a measurable shift in how key stakeholders perceive and describe the institution. In brand positioning, success is a market that understands clearly what you do, why it matters, and why you are the right choice.

We define success metrics at the start of every engagement, not at the end. You should always know what we are building toward — and so should we.

The Clarivox Manifesto

Communication is not decoration.

It is direction.

Perception moves faster than truth.

If you don't shape it deliberately, someone else will.

Not everything should be said.

Strategy is often subtraction.

Trust is engineered, not improvised.

Reputation is a system built over time.

When pressure rises, clarity matters.

When visibility increases, strategy matters.

When the world is watching, words matter.

Clarivox Strategic Communications. Perception Strategy. When it matters most.

Every engagement
begins with a
diagnostic.

Not a proposal. Not a scope of work. A diagnostic. We need to understand your perception landscape before we can recommend a single action.

We are selective about who we work with — not because we are difficult, but because we will only take engagements where we can genuinely move perception.
